Ehlo world!
My name is Lachezar (Lacho or Luke). For more than a decade I’ve been in the IT space professionally. Over the years I’ve helped corporations large and small with their IT needs, which helped me amass a (not so) particular set of skills:
Anything from setting up a single office computer for an intrepid entrepreneur, to large highly-available infrastructure that offers IaaS or SaaS to thousands of end-users.
Ever since childhood, building things and computers were my passion, so naturally that resulted in a career in IT engineering.
Working for an employer for all this time has allowed me to develop multiple skills that help me create even better and more robust systems, but something kept urking me throughout that time - The distinct lack of such knowledge outside of the corporate sphere. What I mean to say is that large companies hire up the talent, which resuls in smaller enterprise not being able to compete and attract the required skillsets to succeed. Not-so large business would, therefore, either have sub-par IT solutions, opening themselves up to security, production or operational risks, or have to pay more, shrinking their profit margins which can be critical for operations of this scale.
Well, I thought to myself, you know how to do a lot of things and want to create things that stand the test of time and are maximally useful to people. I could keep working for large organizations, enabling them to get even bigger or … go out by myself into the unknown and help smaller ventures and solve the dichotomy of paying exorbitant amounts or having bad infrastructure. Surely this is crazy, leaving the security of a nice compensation package, numerous benefits and job security all in the name of some internal drive to help and be useful?
Turns out my middle name is Crazy and that is just what I did. This site is also a testament to that, So here you cam find my Skillset, where I list what bulding blocks I leverage to offer the best It solution and my Blog, where you can find various tutorials and ramblings (some of which not so technology related).
Have you always wanted your own IT guy? Want to find out more about me? Questions? Comments? Jokes at my expense? I’m availble to talk more, so don’t hesitate to contact me!
